Letting Go of “Vegan”

I think I’m ready of letting go of the vegan label. It’s been 3 years since I’ve taken on that label. But as I grow older, that term is suffocating me more than empowering me. I feel guilty when I decide to eat my mother’s red pea soup or paranoid whenever I forget to tell the barista almond milk instead of 2% percent.

Juicy: Lupita N’yongo

The vibrant colors of the juices I make excite me! During my seasonal cleanse this past January, I created a juice that has this beautiful ombre effect. It reminded me of the purple ombre dress that actress, Lupita N’yongo wore at the Golden Globe Awards this year.
